Recreos is an urban regeneration project promoted by Fondazione CR Firenze and developed by LAMA Impresa Sociale. It focuses on the renewal of the public space along Via Palazzuolo and on the reactivation of the vacant commercial premises on the street.

I was commissioned to provide consultancy on the reactivation process, drawing on the knowledge of temporary uses developed during my PhD, as well as on the design and executive production of the tactical urbanism installations for the Recreos festival and on the renovation of the first commercial unit.

The installations consisted of a temporary square, the set-up of the neighbourhood dinner, and the installation of two street benches, used for outdoor events.
